Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Reservation Policy

  • All bookings require a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid one day before the trip begins. This deposit guarantees that Kandia Luxury Transportation will be available to provide the service.

2. Payment

  • The client shall pay 30% of the total fee when signing this agreement. The remainder is due on the day the trip begins. This 30% reservation fee is non-refundable and guarantees that Kandia Luxury Transportation will be available for the service.

3. Payment Methods

  • We accept Venmo, Zelle, credit cards, debit cards, and cash and online payment.

  • Payment must be completed in full before the start of the trip.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • If the client cancels the trip within 15 days of the scheduled date, a cancellation fee equivalent to an additional 30% of the remaining balance will be charged.

  • For cancellations during major holidays, the required notice period extends to 21 days.

  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours on regular days or 120 hours during major holidays prior to the service date will require full payment of the balance due.

5. Passenger Conduct and Termination of Service

  • Kandia Luxury Transportation reserves the right to terminate the trip immediately if any passenger exhibits rude, reckless, or dangerous behavior such as yelling, verbal abuse, or any action that puts the safety of the chauffeur or other passengers at risk.

  • Touching the driver or distracting them in any way is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate termination of service, and the full trip charge will still apply.

  • The vehicle has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers, and no additional passengers are allowed.

6. Damages

  • The client assumes full financial liability for any damages caused to the vehicle by themselves or any members of their party.

  • Food consumption inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. In the event of any mess, a mandatory cleaning fee ranging from $100 to $500 will be assessed.

  • The following charges apply for specific damages:

    • Scratches or damage to leather and chairs: $550.00-$1,000

    • Smears or scuff marks on upholstery: $100.00 - $500.00

    • Smoking inside the vehicle: $500.00

    • Vomiting inside the vehicle: $600.00

    • Broken drinking glass or bottle: $10.00

  • Additionally, charges may apply for the loss of use of the vehicle during repairs.

7. Safety Requirements

  • All passengers are required to remain seated with seatbelts fastened while the vehicle is in motion. Failure to comply may result in service termination without a refund.

8. Adverse Weather Conditions

  • If adverse weather conditions require snow chains for safe operation, an additional charge of $150.00 - $300.00 will apply.

  • Kandia Luxury Transportation is not liable for delays caused by adverse weather conditions, provided all reasonable precautions are taken.

9. Monitoring Systems

  • For your safety, GPS tracking and in-vehicle cameras are operational at all times during the ride. These systems help ensure the safety and security of both passengers and chauffeurs.

10. Additional Charges for Extended Trip Duration

  • Should the trip duration extend due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, additional charges will apply. Kandia Luxury Transportation will communicate these charges to the client.

11. Parking Fees

  • The client is responsible for all parking fees incurred during the service. These charges will be added to the final invoice.

12. Liability Waiver

  • Kandia Luxury Transportation is not responsible for delays due to heavy traffic, accidents, or acts of God. In the event of mechanical breakdown, Kandia Luxury Transportation will only be responsible for rescheduling lost time.

13. Overtime

  • Overtime not ordered but caused by the client's party will start 15 minutes after the scheduled end of the trip. Overtime will be billed in 1-hour increments.

14. Special Requests

  • We accommodate special requests such as additional stops, specific beverages, or personalized itineraries. Please communicate these requests at least 72 hours before the trip. Additional charges may apply.

15. Gratuity

  • Gratuity is not included in the price but is voluntary and appreciated. You may provide a tip directly to your chauffeur at the end of the service.

16. Event and Artist Services

  • For event or artist services, customized packages can be arranged. Please contact us to discuss specific requirements and pricing.

17. Overnight Trips

  • For overnight trips, the client is responsible for reserving and paying for the chauffeurs’ accommodations unless otherwise agreed upon.

18. Authorization

  • The client authorizes Kandia Luxury Transportation to charge all amounts owed, including damages, to their credit card. Charges will be processed 24 hours before the service begins without further authorization.

19. Disputes

  • Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be governed by the laws of California. The prevailing party in any legal dispute shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and related costs.

20. Governing Law

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
